By the year 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the world’s oceans if we pollute the Earth like this. Based on a case study in 2018, just 8% of Canadians do not care about recycling while, recycling rate in Canada is only 24%.
This shows that education and the culture of recycling is not the only reason for not recycling, however not having an efficient recycling system can cause this. Over 90% of the waste is mismanaged to be recycled.
GAIN service platform
GAIN is a marketplace which serves residential, industrial and commercial users that can be able to give back a portion from the sale of recycled raw materials to the first-hand customers to have a passive income and motivation for recycling to about 2 times more than now.
Collectors would have higher annual salaries and Recycling Businesses could have real-time dashboard with reliable transactions without intermediaries.
They can all get onboard on the platform, have an additional source of income and most importantly, prevent irreversible harm to the Earth.
GAIN target Market
In fact, any business related to recycled materials can be the target market of this project. The largest target community is residential consumers.
Our Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) in Canada is about $16 B total value. In addition, local scrap & recycling businesses, waste collection applications, online scrap websites and organizers of scrap tenders can be our product’s customer.

GAIN business Model
Since the recycled raw material market is one of the most profitable industries, “GAIN” business model is tailored on giving back a portion from the sale of these recycled raw materials to household customers to have both a passive income and motivation for recycling more.
According to statistics from 200 residential customers, after offering this financial incentive, the average household recycling rate increased more than 2 times (32% to 74%).
On the other hand, drivers are employed to collect recycled materials, that apart from entrepreneurship, will have at least 50% higher annual salaries than similar jobs like Uber.
Finally, owners of recycling businesses can increase their annual revenue by 24% due to increasing demand by at least 2 times, as well as having a real-time and efficient managing platform.
In the meantime, “GAIN” receives a cut of each transaction as a commission by providing EDP (Electronic Data Processing) and Hub services for recyclable wastes.

We also perform informative promotional campaigns, operate local lead generation strategies such as Google Ads SEO, organic ads, partner referrals and eventually, quality customer support.
