BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on January 10th, Tuesday. Brass, Bronze, and Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices held steady.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 400 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 400 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 400 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices witnessed no change on Index.
Cu/Al Radiators and Heater Cores prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were unchanged on Tuesday, January 10th.
Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady on Index.
6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 150 per MT.
Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed rise by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched higher by CNY 150 per MT.
