BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on September 27th, Monday. Aluminum scrap prices declined on Index. Stainless Steel scrap prices registered increase from the previous day. Meantime, Brass & Bronze, Steel scrap prices held steady.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT each over the previous day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also was up by CNY 100 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.
Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices saw no change on Index.
Cu/Al Radiator prices were unchanged on Index.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were flat on Monday, September 27th.
