SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Interwest Paper, Inc, a Pro Recycling Group Company completed a $700,000 dollar infrastructure improvement project at their South Salt Lake Utah recycling operations in July 2022. The project consisted of improving 2.25 acres of land that included paving and upgrades to the South Salt Lake Terminal. The South Salt Lake facility consists of a 14 bay truck dock transloading warehouse, material baling operations, a full plastic regrind facility for industrial plastics, fleet terminal and trailer storage yard, and a large maintenance shop. Currently the facility handles about 1200 tons per week of recycling scrap from commercial and manufacturing sources from an eight state surrounding area. The project will improve material flow and will allow the company to grow.
“This construction project is the first phase of several new projects that the Pro Recycling Group is working on,” says Beau Peck, the Director of Marketing & Zero Waste Services at the Pro Recycling Group. “We are fortunate to be growing exponentially in bizarre economic times and we owe our success to our great customer base and exceptional employees.”
